Katie and I were looking at new backgrounds and this one with the owl came up. Katie got SO excited. She has this thing for owls. I have no idea where it came from. She brings me all the books that have owls in them (which it turns out there are quite a few at our house) and says "owl". It's fun to hear all of her words. Here are a few of my favorites that she says:
What is it
Oh wow
owl
It's daddy (whenever we see something of his)
I love you

New background
I love you!
Kimball taught Katie how to say "I love you". She has been doing this for a couple of weeks now, but of course won't say it for anyone. So, I finally got it on video. When she folds her arms that's the love part. She also says I love you to Jesus. We have a picture of Jesus just to the left of the table on the wall.

Piano and Organ
We recently got a new piano. Well, it's a used piano but new to us. I have decided to teach piano lessons. Right now I have one student. Kimball even plays every once in a while. Katie loves our piano. She likes to take her frog up there and turn the pages (just like mom) and tell the frog what she is doing. She also likes to sing to her beautiful music. I'm sure that excitement won't last forever, but it's fun to see for now.

I have also been called as the organist in our ward. As some of you may know I don't actually play the organ. Well, I do now, but I didn't. Last week I played the organ in Sacrament Meeting last week for the first time. Kimball is great to watch Katie during Sacrament Meeting and the rest of church because I also play the piano in primary. What a busy 3 hours it is for all of us.
