My sister-in-law, Amy, helped me make some bedding for Katie's crib. I think she loves the freedom of a bigger bed and she definitely loves her new blanket Amy made for her. And of course we all love that she has her own room. Thanks Amy!

Walkers
Katie had a great time using all of the different kinds of walkers when we were in Idaho. She is getting so close to walking. She has actually walked on her own a couple of times, but only when she doesn't realize it. Once she realizes what she's doing she immediately panics and sits down.
Here's Grandpa helping her balance and making sure the car doesn't run away from her.

She figured out this one pretty fast and away she went all over the house. Not a whole lot of control over the direction yet. You can also see her new cheesy smile she acquired while we were there.

Chilly Idaho Fun
Our visit to Idaho was fun but chilly. Here she is in Grandpa's socks (they are clean). Her's weren't working very well apparently. I'm sure she is much warmer here.
Here she is having her first experience with snow. She tasted it and wasn't really sure what to think. She kept lifting her hands in the air like she didn't want to get to close. She wasn't so sure about the sled ride either. She almost fell off. Good thing it was a short ride.

Idaho Cousins
Nick is a couple months younger than Katie, but he is still bigger than her.
Katie, however, wanted only to play with the girls (Abbie and Halle). They were the excitement. She would be constantly crawling after them or grabbing my fingers to walk. Desperately trying to catch up. They were good to teach her everything they knew when they got a moment.

Natal Street
Breanne this post is for you. There is a street near our apartment called Natal Street. In Portuguese it means Christmas (at least that's what someone told me). They all decorate their houses for an amazing light display all December long. Here are some of the houses.
Christmas
We got to go see the Mesa Temple lights. Katie loved seeing all the people and the pretty lights. They were very bright this year.
She had a great time helping me wrap the presents. This is when she first learned to crawl. Christmas day was so much fun. She really hadn't had new toys since she was born so she was very excited about all these toys. So excited, in fact, that she would not take a nap that morning.
